We ordered custom decorated sugar cookies from Mad Batter last week for our daughter’s birthday party. Unfortunately the cookies never made it to my daughters party. While we did receive a refund, our daughter was devastated that the cookies never arrived. Things come up and life happens, I just wish we had known the delivery wasn’t going to happen, so that we could have picked up the cookies earlier in the day.

DELIVERY OF PRODUCT-WHICH WAS PAID IN FULL WAS NOT DELIVERED, EXCUSE WAS THAT DELIVERY PERSON COULD NOT BE REACHED. DELIVERY WAS SCHEDULED FOR 4PM FOR A BRIDAL SHOWER STARTING AT 5PM. I VERBALLY REQUESTED A REFUND, WHICH I DID NOT IMMEDIATELY RECEIVE AND HAD TO REQUEST AGAIN VIA PAYPAL. I WAS FORCED TO PURCHASE A CAKE SITTING ON A COUNTER AT THE GROCERY STORE. Mad Batter Bakery is our go to baker when ever we have family events and want a special cake. She recently made our gender reveal cake and it was simply perfect. So gorgeously done and very tasty! You could tell how much she paid attention to detail. Thank you Chelle!

We would give more stars if we could! CHELLE at MAD BATTER BAKERY in TUCSON, ARIZONA was amazing to work with. We made little "signs" for our wedding cupcakes and she offered to put a sign in each of the cupcakes before the wedding day delivery. This helped us out immensely! They arrived early at our venue with plenty of time to set them up. We were impressed with her cheery and timely responses and correspondence. GREAT customer service and the cupcakes were PERFECT! We brought home the leftovers and I have been eating one every night after dinner as my dessert! They are so delicious! All this and so AFFORDABLE too! Believe me, because I am known as the "cheap one" and shopped AROUND for a long time! We highly recommend checking out MAD BATTER BAKERY for your next event!!!

Amazing to work with! Process to order was super easy and the cake was amazing! We did a “40” cake with the numbers and had one funfetti for the kiddos and one lemon blackberry (YUM!). Very good customer service and I would highly recommend!

We purchased two dozen cupcakes for a bridal shower: white cake and pink champagne. Chelle did a great job communicating with me prior to the event. She made setting up the order easy where all I had to tell her was what I wanted, colors, and design. Everything is available on her website, so I recommend looking through it before you place your order. Chelle does free delivery if you're within the right radius in town or if you happen to be having your event at a specific spot in Vail. I was lucky enough to be at that specific spot, so I received free delivery. Chelle was running a little late due to traffic, but let me know in advance. It was only about 5 minutes and was no issue whatsoever. I appreciated her communication throughout and letting me know when she was on her way and when she experienced unexpected traffic. Once the cupcakes arrived they were gorgeous. The decorations looked exactly like the pictures and were stunning. They looked great on our decoration table. Once we tried the cupcakes, they tasted great too. I can only speak for the pink champagne, but I don't expect the white cake was much different. The icing wasn't too heavy or thick. The cake itself wasn't dry and was very rich. It had a denseness to it that was great. Also, the flavor really did taste like pink champagne. Overall, I was quite pleased with Mad Batter Bakery and would recommend them to anyone in town. Picture of the gorgeous cupcakes in the comments

I ordered cupcakes for my husband’s birthday and they were absolutely fabulous! Delicious and beautiful German chocolate and white on white. And, Chelle went out of her way to deliver them on time, despite having to deal with a flat tire in the rain on the way to our house across town. Amazing customer service.

Chelle is such a creative baker and artist! She managed to pull together my crazy arrangement of flavors/toppers into a desert oasis of cupcakes! She is so easy to work with and listens to every request, including diet restrictions!!! I showed her a few ideas and she created the perfect cupcakes for our wedding! Our guests absolutely loved them! If I have any more events in Tucson that need cake or cupcakes, I will always reach out to Mad Batter Bakery first!

Our unicorn cake was so magical and beautiful we didn't want to eat it! The rainbow inside when we cut into the cake just made everyone in the room light up with joy!! The cake itself was absolutely delicious too

Ordered some specialty sugar cookies from here. They looked exactly how I wanted them to look (she even went out and bought a new cookie cutter for our cookies) and they tasted delicious! She was also very accommodating with meeting me when and where I needed.

I needed some treats delivered for a family who lost a loved one in Tucson. I took a huge chance with Mad Batter Bakery since I had never worked with them. Not only were the family extremely happy with the delicious treats but I was especially pleased with how fast they answer inquires and how they delivered the treats on such short notice. My dad celebrated his 70th birthday last week. When he was child and around seven years old living in Toledo, Ohio, the family frequently spent family time at Rose's Delicatessen. Dad's parents became good friends with her. The deli was well known for its desserts and particularly a chocolate layered cake. Rose would frequently send slices of this cake home with the family. Rose's husband passed away sometime in the mid 1950's and soon after his death, she closed the restaurant. Last year my dad was in Portland, Oregon eating at Rose's Deli. When he was ready to leave, he saw stories on the wall about the history of Rose's Deli and how she relocated her restaurant to Portland. Dad came home and told me the story in detail and about their bakery. I Googled the restaurant and found out that Rose had written two cookbooks and this same chocolate layer cake is in the book. My dad asked me to make it for me and a task like that with 16 layers was not going to happen. I contacted Chellie who owns Mad Batter Bakery and with less than a week before his birthday celebration, I asked her if it would be possible to make this cake. I took screen shots of the recipe with my phone and sent it to her via text message. With much enthusiasm, she said, yes! The cake turned out to be far better than I expected. It was what my dad remembered. Personally, this was the best cake I have ever had. Chellie is my go to baker now for everything. I feel confident in asking her to bake anything and if there is a recipe, I would bet she will be up to the challenge. Thank you for making my dad's 70th birthday celebration the best it could possibly be!

We have ordered twice now for Thanksgiving and Christmas, the desserts were a huge hit. I have never tasted a better carrot cake before in my life!
